U R Fairy Reading

You are not your problems. You are not the world’s problems.

You are not your possessions. You are not your job title, your social standing, your credit score or your bank balance.

You are a unique and beautiful spirit, immersed in a universe that’s overflowing with abundance. You are a bundle of magnificent possibilities, with the desire and the skills to fulfill those possibilities.

You are able to enjoy beauty and to give love. You can create joy where it has not existed before and spread that joy far and wide.

You can brilliantly and successfully adapt and thrive in an endless variety of situations. You can focus your awareness and your efforts to bring into reality whatever you envision.

You are the wonderful and amazing person who can rise above all the pettiness and do great things no matter what. You are whatever you can imagine, so always, always, imagine the very best.

Help me be aware of and release any self-defeating beliefs I have about being unlovable. Help me begin, today, to tell myself that I am lovable. Help me practice this belief until it gets into my core and manifests itself in my relationships.

BETTER than a meteor shower!!!

The punkin patch, the PUNKIN patch!!
We went to the punkin patch and got a tour of the crop AND I got to pet baby goats!

Very cool, indeed.
Punkins EVERY where....

And the bitty ones for pie making are starting to turn...

Ohhhhhhhh......and I saw HUGE ones that were dark green and getting ready to go orange......

k.......as GOOD AS the meteor shower.....

:-D

<-- watching the light show

......that was great fun.

I quit counting at 18.
More honestly.....I started getting my numbers messed up at 18.

I'll blame lack of caffeine.....though, I'm on the second pot so that's probably dishonest as well.

Wow......how cool of a meteor shower is THAT?!

Beautiful crescent moon......brilliant stars.
Perfect weather for patio sitting in the dark.

The gooder news?
I can do it again tomorrow morning!  :-)

Today's Reading

Every single moment has something for us. Maybe a new piece of information. A piece that solves a problem that's been puzzling us. Perhaps a chance to make a new friend, one who will be there in a time of need.

Letting go of yesterday frees us. We need not be burdened. It is gone. Our lives could be eased, so much, if we kept our focus on the experience at hand, where the problems we ponder have their solutions. Always.

Meanwhile, down on the farm....

TFTD

When the well threatens to run dry, it's time to rest and refill.

We can't always be doing and giving and producing. There comes a time when we run out of steam, and that's when we need to know how to replenish our supply of energy and enthusiasm.

Some of us get recharged by being with other people. Some of us need to be quiet and alone. All of us can profit from an inspirational uplift, whether it comes from music, something we read, a conversation with a friend, savoring the beauty of nature, or a period of meditation.

Vacations can be wonderful, but we're not always able to take them when we need them. What we can do is learn how to create for ourselves islands of recreation -- re-creation -- which may be inserted into our busy, everyday schedule. We can learn to stop and refill the well before it runs dry, so we do not drive ourselves into the kind of exhaustion that threatens our sanity and our serenity.

I will build an island of re-creation into today's schedule.

Soft landings

...and yet another Reading....

Through laziness or inattention, we often miss opportunities to grow. Maybe we don't play our hunches or listen to our intuition. Maybe we see an opportunity but fail to act because we're not sure it's what we ought to do. An opportunity to fulfill a lifelong dream has appeared, but we don't trust our good fortune. A chance has come to use our talent to help someone, but we don't know how the person will handle it, so we do nothing.

And we rationalize. We decide it's a frivolous impulse, a whim that's not worth our attention. We decide it couldn't be our Inner Guide.

God seldom takes us by the scruff of the neck and pulls us to our next destination. God provides the opportunities; it's up to us to seize them. God talks to us; it's up to us to listen.

Today I'll be on the lookout or God's opportunities.

Today's Reading from the Reading Fairy

The greatest gift we can give another person is the gift of ourselves.

When we can share our deepest convictions and failures, our ideals and disillusionments, our hopes and frustrations, our dreams and despairs, our answers and our questions – then we are loving our neighbors as ourselves as well as "loving our enemies."

A friend put it this way, "If I share the whole of me with you, I share the good as well as the bad. I don't hide anything of myself from you, not in a deep friendship, or a deep marriage for that matter. By sharing some things I hate about myself, I'm loving my inside enemy. I'm telling you I'm still human and have a lot of growing to do. I'd love to tell you about all my good points, it would make me feel a lot better, but it wouldn't be sharing all of me with you."

TODAY I will concentrate on sharing my insides and outsides with another; I will listen to myself as I talk. I will not be satisfied if I sit on my laurels or wallow in my woes. I will improve myself by becoming aware of how I communicate to others.

I dream of a world..........

I dream of a world where chickens can cross roads

without having their motives questioned.

Fairy Reminder!!

Human Conduct is ever unreliable until it is anchored in the Divine.
--Sri Yukteswar

Who is directing this movie?

Most of us would like to believe that we are the person best qualified to direct our life's movie. But when we attempt to run things solely from the perspective of the ego, we soon discover the limits of its power. Despite our best intentions, chaos and confusion abound on the set. Life lacks a quality of flow, joy, and peace.

"How can this be?" you may ask. "In order to run my life, I must be in charge. I must be in control. What other way is there?"

There is an alternative. Let the real director run the show. From now on, take your cues from that universal Intelligence which dwells within you. If you are told to appear in a scene where you don't think you belong, have faith. Watch as people and resources appear at the right time and place, and all unfolds in Divine order.

Make the choice to turn your life over to your higher director. Instead of trying to control everything, trust that the Universe will handle the details. Letting go may be scary at first. But if you follow this path, your life will work out more beautifully than you ever could have imagined.
