Today I saw a couple of rose bushes still blooming downtown and some petunias and geraniums too. What a surprise after two really hard frosts....or should I call them frozens....;)
A lot of times the cool nights give the flowers one last burst of color, even as they begin to whither with age. It makes them even more beautiful than they were in spring.
