More SNOW, please!!

Yes thanks, we'd LIKE more snow! Okay, so we have a few inches out there. What's a few more!

No kidding....we have more snow so far this December than we had the whole of last winter. I'm reminded of the winters growing up. THIS is what Iowa is like. The past few years we've had smatterings of snow. FINALLY we get 'real' snow--six to eight inches at a shot. There's a REASON to cancel school, finally! LOL Yeah, yeah....uphill IN the snow, without shoes--I heard that one a gazillion times.

In the meanwhile, tonight was the night we decided to drive around town to look at the holiday lights. Yeah, yeah--we're old folks, we like doing that sorta stuff.
I was sadly disappointed. Honestly, our block has more lights than the rest of the blocks we drove past. What happened!?! Could be the cold/snowy weather caught folks by surprise--could be lack of holiday spirit around here. Dunno.

I do know we're well lit! And I know it may be March before they all come down cuz they're buried in that 17 inches of snow out there!
