There is NO stationery to be found in this bitty town.
NONE.
NADA.
Zilch.
Zip.
Not a blessed box of it anywhere.
Heck--I drove to the next town and WalMart doesn't even bother!
I've resorted to drafting paper and colouring every other line. LOL
While that's great fun--it's not exactly 'cute'!
So--that's just a fine example of what's TRUE today.
People don't hand write letters.
They might scribble a note in a card.....but not so much letter writing!

That's okay though!! I'm on the downhill slide of the every day writing gig. I've got some cards I've put together and some I snagged at the store a few weeks ago.
And IF I feel like it, I'll actually follow through and write a letter from using words I've clipped from a magazine. LOL Yes, I know--funky, but true!

Even the Hallmark stores don't seem to be carrying stationary anymore. I remember when I was a kid and used not only neat stationary, but also colored sealing wax with a seal. OMG...I loved using that. My cousin and I would mail letters to one another, back and forth, with envelopes covered in drips of sealing wax. That was way fun!
