His and Hers
Parents and children-- The sister sent on several 'family photos' she's acquired from her 'godmother'.
Mostly, I have no clue who's who and who belongs to whom--but that's the nature of the family tree with all the twists and turns the branches can take, eh?
*I* thought this was a blended family, by the features on the children--It's not.
And apparently this is only 10 of the 12 children. The guy in the back looks older than the dad who's sitting down....as does the gal on the left. Apparently they're the eldest siblings--charged with tending to the children while the dude sitting down wandered in and out of the marriage and had a host of affairs.
*laughing* Small wonder no one was smiling, huh.

12 children? I'd die, I'd just die ... Family values then weren't completely different to ours.
hi mel... families can be quite intricate, can't they....
i hope you are feeling better and better. i'm preparing for oral surgery, dreading every moment. ah well, life is not all ice cream, no?
hoping you're eating your share. xxxxx
Interesting how the people on the left look alike and the people on the right look alike. Hmmmm....
I have several albums of photos from both sides of my family....no words...just photos....and most taken in the "old" country. Good grief...who are these people? I wish my parents would have taken the time to look at them with me. But...I guess it wasn't important to them. Being an only...with the parents gone...I now wonder.
Hope today finds your better than the day before. [hugs] Have you done any wheelies yet?
Okay Mel, I am SO loving this photo!!!!!
I love looking at vintage family photographs because I like figuring out who everyone is to each.
OMG...the little girl sitting on the chair is adorable!
"*laughing* Small wonder no one was smiling, huh."
HA! Isn't that the truth? I have so many family photos in which not a single person is smiling.
