Piece of Peace

It's been rainy.
And cold.

Getting outside for patio time has been difficult.

If it isn't the cold and wind, it's the responsibilities that have interfered with just BEing.
It'll get there--my fear is it'll go from chilly to flipping hot without any inbetween.
Yeah, yeah.....never satisfied, are we.

But this afternoon the rain stopped.
And there was enough of a break in the messiness of what's been our weather--that patio time happened.

Yeah--so it involved a blankie. :-/
Still happened!

There's something to be said for just swingin' and watching birdies do their thing. Mr. Cardinal sang pretty for me--until I realized he was dealing with an empty tray feeder, I was thinking it was all for my entertainment.

That said--bird feeders are filled.
The debris from this front's wind is swept up and I can reclaim the patio--I hope.

If not--oh well. I had this evening.

I might even make it outside for another piece of peace.
Might leave the cellphones inside this time......

"Should I ring back later?"

YES!!

k.....I might be a bit crabby.....

I'd blame lack of coffee--but I stole the second cup of French pressed coffee himself made.

Ohdearwhatashamenevermind. LOLOL

It's all good.
I realize he'll want a cuppa coffee later.
I'll make two!
