Twilight Sparkle ......and Peanuts

She was pretty pleased with herself.  First she got to tell Grandad and Nana about riding the bus and her rainbow carpet for quiet time at school.......and the teacher who wears dresses like she does, but not purple dontchaknow.  :-)

Then she was over the top that she could open shelled peanuts--and when you can't get Grandad's attention you crawl over half the table and get in his line of vision "I DID it, Grandad....I DID IT!!"  Yup--she did, over and over and over again--shells flyin', peanuts flyin'.....and 3 year old as happy as happy can be......
Mom wasn't amused.
Nana was!!

We had a lovely dinner--with take away cuz peanuts will fill ya up. LOL

And then the gig was up.
Darn good thing Grandad forgot the prezzies in the Jeep.

The eyes lit up and the smile was huge....."Twilight Sparkle.....she has a scooter like ME...."

Grandad told her she could open it later.
He was kidding, right?
She's three.  You can't give her something and tell her it has to stay in the box--Nana helped her cuz Nana had the steak knife.....LOL

Yup--  Out came the pony.  Forget the clothes and do-dad's for hair.......PONY!!

"I have to go home pretty soon now, Nana."

Okay Bug...why's that.

"I have to play with my ponies.  C'mon mom!"

*chuckling*
Mom and Grandad suck at listening......
IN the line of vision, pony clutched "I have to go now mom!"

Twilight Sparkle wasn't going in her wee purse.
The kitty could.
The book could.
But NOT the pony.......which was clutched happily in her little hand.

I got a quick hug.
Grandad got the 'Thank you Grandad, I love my Twilight Sparkle!"
Yeahyeah.....it's all good.  Mom had her thank me.

Mom didn't need to--watching her was thanks enough.

Besides........

I put peanuts in her wee little purse.  :-D

OMG, Mel, I would have LOVED to been there to see that moment!

LOVE the Twinkle Sparkle, it's sooooooooooo dang CUTE!!!!

And I bet it matched the Bug's pink/fushia/purple ensemble that she wore the first day of school!

((((( Bug )))))

This post just warmed my heart!

Thanks for sharing, Nana!
