What are three things that are on your desk that shouldn’t be?

Well, goodness. I posted a photo of the top of the desk earlier this week.

And just so ya know.....everything on the desk SHOULD be there, thankyouverymuch.

But--I suppose if we're talking about things that other folks might deem 'professional desk unworthy'....

The dancing penguiny guy--he wiggles, he flaps, he makes colours on his tummy and he squawks and mutters.
The antique NYCS oil can--it's a prezzie and I like all things NYCS in the study, tyvm.
And the wee bitty penguiny guy that stands on the very top corner of the computer monitor--he's had a home there for 4 years now and he likes it very much. He's waiting for The Brit to complete the ice house on the trainlayout before he relocates.

Are we limited to three? My desktop, (the real one, not the virtual that is the screen on my puter), is in dire need of cleaning, straightening and generally to be put back in some sort of order. I have so many things that don't belong here. They need filing and finding places for them to alleviate the clutter.
So, thanks for making me think I have a chore to do when I was gonna just leave it for another day.
Nevermind, I'll leave it for another day anyhow.

Peace.

At the moment there is a cat on my desk, now she likes to believe that she belongs there and as she has sharp claws I'm not about to argue with her.
For reasons known only to Francis (with an i) there is a brand new steamer he just brought me but left on my desk, it's very nice and lovely that he saw it, thought of my diet and brought it for me, but we have a kitchen it would be more suited to.
And finally a bottle of fish oil capsules, it is meant to remind me to take them, yeah right, it's fish oil uck!!!!

isn't it odd when you think about the unusual places we all choose to store stuff.
My Callum love penguiny things as well. I knew I liked you for a reason.
Much love

Having an OCD tidy gene my desk has many things on it placed just so, and whoa betide anyone who moves them, cause then you can see that the dust is all part of the arrangement too! That's my excuse and I'm sticking to it!

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

OMG...I LOVE that!

Well, right now my desk is a messy mess. Normally it isn't because like Fire Byrd, I am OCD about keeping it free of clutter. I had off last week, so I blame it on "I don't care because I'm on vacation." But, I'll tell ya...I gotta do something about it soon because I can't even find a PEN.

HA!

For the first time in quite a long while I can actually see that my desktop is made out of wood. For weeks I've thought it was constructed of loose pieces of paper and the such.

I don't understand? Is any desk complete without a few penguins and oil cans?
