Undoubtedly there are pictures on the walls in your home.
What's your favorite one? Why?
What's your favorite one? Why?
I keep changing my mind! LOL
Lemme just try this.
THIS WEEK my favorite one is the poster of Grand Central Station from the 1940's with ghost like people mixed in with the normies. LOL
I think it's the lighting and the exposure of the actual photo that gives it that effect--but it's just wonderful to stare at with all the bits and pieces to discover over and over again.
And this week, getting lost in a eye adventure and disconnecting from the brain is a wonderful thing! ;-)

I have so many pictures that it would be tough to choose a fav! I have one that my Dad painted when he was at school...it belonged to my Gran and she decorated her living room to match it :-). Or there is the photo of the castle that Chris took me too 'on holiday' and then surprised me by proposing. Or there is the pencil drawing of me done by a good friend of mine who writes role playing games. Or the one of flowers that was painted by an elephant (It was...I watched him do it!). Or...
k
going to stop there...

Funny you ask this particular question this particular week. As you know, I'm involved with A Virgin a Day and everyone that is participating is posting paintings of Oyr Lady of Guadalupe and othjer depictions of Mary. So, I have been lookinbg at all of those to piuck and choose which ones to use for posts.
It's really hard to pick a favotite one right now, but i would have to go with one of theLos Dias de Los Muertos pictures I have with all the skeletons dancing while the mariachi band plays.
Hope things are good with you. I'm gettingn used to changes in diet, exercise, lifestyle and mental well-being.
Peace
OMG...this so ironic because like Spadoman, I have a picture of the Blessed Mother Mary holding baby Jesus in her arms on my wall next to my sofa bed. And that's my favorite picture!
It gives me so much peace.

I think my favourite is a picture my Mother painted, of our garden. Lovely to see through her eyes.
When I went to Ireland in the '70s, I bought a linen tea towel that has a picture of an old Irish farmer sitting at his table by the hearth. The table cloth has a pattern of shamrocks. He's smoking his pipe, his trusty dog at his feet. The light of fire catches the beautiful old face. It's all done in shades of tan, browns and beiges. It could be my father - so familiar in the physical as well as the spiritual sense.
I framed the tea towel and put foam behind it which surprisingly makes it look like a painting. It graces my dining room.
