Happy Mother's Day!

To me--to all of the moms and the moms of those who've touched my life.

Nothing else will make you as happy or as sad, as proud or as tired, for nothing is quite as hard as helping a person develop his own individuality especially while you struggle to keep your own.

I, Like The View said...

wanna put those words in by The Prophet again, but you know the ones I mean - so I don't have to, do I?!

and as for your quote, does that apply to the men in one's life too (the grown-up, partner ones I mean)!?

that's a rhetorical question, BTW, as that's my own personal struggle (well, one of them)

but a happy mother's day to you, nonetheless (found the duct tape yet?!)

?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

I hope you had an awesome Mothers Day, Mel.

I've been sitting here trying to think how to say that you've given me so much over the years, in a way that a mother probably would, without saying that I think you've been 'motherly' towards me, coz I don't think you have (and that's a good thing)...if that makes sense. Maybe it doesn't and I can't find the right words, but I think you know what I mean anyway.
