Splendor in the vastness

Sooooooooo.....Lemme assure you that Saturday was MORE than awesome.
We took a highway we weren't planning to take and had the MOST incredible time of it.

And if we'da never made The Arches......we'da still called it an awesomely wonderful adventure.
Ohmygosh....it was soooo gorgeous.
Photos won't ever do it justice.
It was all too big, too.......splendid......

And the little details are always so amazing.
It's so easy to get wowed by the bigger picture that the little things go unnoticed.
I'll be making note of the little details inside of the vastness again today.
I'm thinkin' that's just 'good practice'............

How absolutely glorious! And the only way to deal with the vastness is to break it down into smaller pieces. As usual, you know exactly what you are doing. Gorgeous pictures.

And happy too, for me. To get to see your view of the big picture and the marvelous details :)

you are just making me grin, dearheart. . .

one huge silly sloppy grin

(and makin' me think thank g*d I came here voluntarily, and not on a Section, cos if I was on a Section I'd never be allowed into The States, if I ever get out of here)(see, it's looking up, I'm thinking of getting out of here!)

thank you for making me smile this evening, and thank The Brit for sharing the journey with you

and thank you both for sharing it with us
