Mop in Mouth Solutions

GOOD timing.

:-/

Excellent timing.

I LIKE water all over the laundry room floor and that panicked call from he-who-doesn't-handle-crisis-well.
Seemed pretty simple to me......call the plumber, mop up the water?

Yeah, notsomuch simple for he-who-doesn't-handle-crisis-well.
And no points for me for handling that graciously.

Fact is, take off a few points for being crabby about it and expecting another person to flip into 'A, B, C=solved...........THEN have the emotional moment'.
k......take off more than a 'few'.

I oughta go to the naughty corner, only I don't have the time.

I did say I was sorry.
NOT that it undoes the 'pop off at the mouth' moment.
........it doesn't.

Whatever happened to the "PAUSE when agitated" button?
Darnit that it sits next to "POP OFF and be sarcastic" button.

Oy brother......

SHUT UP when agitated.
Buy time, buy time, buy time.

I know these things.
I'da been better served by stuffing the mop IN MY MOUTH and tossing my body on the floor to pick up the backed up mess on the floor.

*sigh*
I could still do that........

Let's see, caught in the act of being yourself again, right?
Saying I'm sorry is a good thing too. I think you did fine.
Finally got back here to take a peek. It's a slow process, but it's happening. I can't help but sit here and think about where I was a week or so ago and wonder if there is anything important enough to get excited over, or care if someone else does either for that matter. I'm sitting in my EZ chair, doing nothing as I have the blood pressure of your mop, the kids are all a buzz and their Mom is yelling and goin' nutso. My new tack, I start praying and saying thank you that I am around to hear them, because I know that in an hour, they'll be laughing and hugging each other and all will be forgotten.
You did good Mel.

Peace

Or you could let HIM do it! :-)

Well of course it's always easy to solve a problem from the other end of a phone?
Never mind, as you say, 'sorry' doesn't undo anything but it tips the scales back towards peace and loving kindness. And life is an ongoing series of situations with pauses and pops all over the place....Oh, wait a minute ... you could still do that with the mop and your body? The water is still all over the floor? Um, could be time for the pop button again if so!

Oh and I do hope the plumber comes soon - if not already!
