Repeat

I beat the storms home last night.  Somehow I seem to be lucky that way when I'm coming back from meetings.  That didn't stop the 2 AM wake up call from the handy dandy weather alert thingy....for the second night running.  Apparently we're looking at a third night of the noisy, mad storms.  Monday's came with tornado sirens.  I'm gonna hope we don't have a repeat of that.
I don't like it when I can see clouds gearing up for mean weather moments.  You can feel it coming.....as you're watching.
There's no watching once that sun goes down.
Then it's a different level of anxiety.
'Specially for himself who's finally 'getting' a sense of Midwest weather MEANING IT.  LOL. We don't mess with piddly storms, that's for sure.

I'm hoping for a bit more sleep...I'm sleep deprived enough.
A bit less drama would be good.

If not....another round of golf ball/baseball sized hail would do.
I already need the new roof...LOL...why waste someone else's good one?!

Mel, I didn't know you had weather thingies... alarms and all that. I learn something every day. Storms have no consideration for sleep deprived people.

Yes, I've seen pictures you've shared of some of the storms you've had there and WOW...they are no piddly storms.

You take care, Mel, and I hope you got some sleep.

We had a nice little thunderstorm the other day and while I was enjoying watching it, I thought of you.

Now when I watch the weather channel, I think of you because you are ALWAYS IN IT! For Pete's sake, it's just insane the weather this past year. I do not know how you do it. I'll take earthquake disasters any day to those insane tornadoes that scare me just watching tv. And speaking of storm chasers, why are you beating the storm, my dear? Well, hope you've got your camera ready so you can be on CNN! :)

xxx & wish for no more of that!
