Knife, please.......

I carried weapons.

Please note that's written in the past tense. I no longer am 'allowed' to carry weapons.

The first wisepersoninmylife decided I was 'frisk worthy' after I pulled a gun out in a meeting he and I were attending together.........No one was 'harmed' per se. I pulled it outta my purse, put it to my head and threatened to pull the trigger if someone didn't shut the guy at the podium up. (I'd heard the fella's story ONE TOO MANY TIMES.....and I was a BIT underdeveloped in my level of patience and acceptance, okay?!)

Needless to say, wisepersoninmylife opted to take that gun and started to question me if I was carrying a gun before I got into his car.

He took two guns from me.

I never---NEVER EVER got them back!

He kept asking and I kept telling-- "YOU TOOK BOTH OF THEM."
But what I didn't offer up was the fact that I had opted, instead, to stick one of my knives in the purse.(please note that's plural)

He got a bit irritated with me when he discovered THAT fact. I got a bit irritated that he was taking my weapons from me one at a time, bit by bit by bit, again and again and again....and that there seemed little hope of getting 'em back.

Playing 'mumbly peg' during a meeting is AS unacceptable as pulling out a revolver, apparently. Equally AS unacceptable, so I was 'informed', was flinging a knife across the room in the general direction of some folks that you weren't particularly fond of........
And, to make matters confusing, I discovered it wasn't even acceptable to toss a knife in the general direction of folks you WERE particularly fond of.
*scratching head*
I asked to see the 'rules'.
I never got to see 'em.
Sometimes I think wisepersoninmylife makes things up as he goes.

I can't recall how many knives the man took from me.

I DO recall that I never got one of THOSE back either.

Somewhere there's a well armed wisepersoninmylife who didn't pay for the arsenal.

Wait.....that's not true.
He paid dearly for it, getting to work with the likes of me.

Now, I'd suppose, given that the Brit is privy to this information about me, THAT would be why he gave me the hairy eyeball when I asked him for a knife.

I JUST wanted to cut a piece of pie.
How many folks do YOU know who get a hairy eyeball and an interrogation when they wanna cut a piece of pie?
*rolling eyes*
