QOTW 12/2

What's for dinner?
Now that's too easy...
Roast, potatoes, carrots, broccoli, gravy and some sort of berry pie I think.
Now, ya gotta know that's not my doings.
The roast and veggies are. Thank goodness for a crockpot that'll tend to dinner while I'm having numerous 'oh look-----a chicken' moments.
Himself will take care of the broccoli out of fear that I'll mutate it into some form of babyfood (that WILL come in handy when we're really, REALLY old!), he'll whip up the gravy (cuz he prefers his without lumps for some odd reason) and the pie's already made. (himself took care of that prior to the power outages yesterday--he's smart like that!)
No guests for the meal today.
Which means I can lounge around in my Levi's and sweater and do all sortsa cool stuff.....yet to be defined.....
OH.......like make pretzely whozit thingies to send on to THE mum.
And stay inside whilest himself watches the cutting up of the bazillion pound tree branch.
What's up with that?
It's a chainsaw, it's a branch--littler pieces will get made and it'll go bye-bye.....
*shrugs*
Some things in life I'm apparently not suppose to get.....
(gosh I love poor sentence structure! LOL)

That sounds like our thanksgiving and it's just the way I love it.

Yes, I love having people come for thanksgiving but we just haven't found and/or don't know folks who could come in the past few years.

Man, I wish my kids lived closer -- darn those grown boys who move so far away - just breaks my heart!

Much love, peace and thank you to all.
