And then the principal called.......
She needed to check out a rumor given to her by her Superintendent.
And I talked around it.....knowing the whole time I was being deceptive.
Knowing the whole time she was simply trying to protect what's hers.....
.....knowing I was lying.
And so I sent an email on to the boss.
I cannot continue this.
I simply cannot.
No.
I won't.
Hard times will happen.
The busy-ness of doing what's in front of me won't be enough and the nuiances of what's true will unfold, bitterly....painfully.......
But I won't continue to do this.
Not any more........
He heard me.
I don't think I left much choice but to hear.
The 'won't' was pretty deafening.....

(once I was the person on a secret redundancy team made up of directors of the company and other senior staff and I was the most junior and the typist and thus I held "The List" of those who were going to be sacked - one third of the company staff - and a good friend of mine who had a young family whose name was on the list was about to sign for a house purchase and I knew he would be in the most dreadful financial trouble and and and there was NOTHING I could say or do; not like your situation but it was a truly dreadful thing to experience)
