Just for the record, I sat in the office and read 99 pages of that book that I wanted to hand back.
And I lived through the meeting with the boss.
And I did the other meetings, one after another.
And I came home, promptly parked it on the patio and contemplated the meaning of life.
*rolling eyes*
I'd whine about being limited in my circumstances.
I'd whine about not being allowed to go up and down and up and down and up and down and up and down (is that seven times?) the steps at the work site.
I'd whine about NOT being allowed on the unit currently.
I'd whine about not being able to be present for some things that I truly wanna BE present for...
........but it doesn't change the circumstances and I simply need to find the 'acceptance' and move on.
I figure I'll get another 99 pages of the book read today--after a get together with a couple folks.
Whaddaya gonna do.....whatever's in front of me, I guess.
And that's the book that I soooooooo don't have the patience to read but that I'm reading anyway.
Ewwwwww.

It's hard to imagine having to be held back so much - or not being able to take steps one wants. Methinks you have great patience.
Thank goodness you know how to play!
I can only take so much of going against myself before I get twitchy and "owly" until I reason it out with folks. I know you have the skills to do that - well.
Curb appeal? Hire the one who likes it...assuming that person has time and the use of all their limbs.
(How did the poor owl end up with that tag's meaning?)

Good for you, Mel!
I know that's always easy, but it seems to be easier than resisting it. And I know, because I'm a RESISTOR.
HA!
Sending ya a BIG hug....

much love, dear mel. xoxo
Focus on the blessing of the get-together. I am actually envious. It's not going to happen here unless someone drives 5 hours. Usually a lighter heart makes another 99 more bearable. Yes?
I know hon. You gotta do withwhat is on your plate and obligation does not always make for smiley face moments.
But, we do learn in the process.
Best of luck to ya, dear.
