Seriously?
The Bug is coming for the weekend.
That's Friday night, all of Saturday and Sunday until mid-afternoon.
The mom and dad need the time to pack cuz they're moving house come July.
Well, that and Nana needs some Bug time.
She's excitedly talked with me the past three days in a row--reminding me she's coming for the weekend.
YEAH!!! And don't think Nana's not equally happy!
Right:
Oreos of the 'sherbet' kind
Coconut cookies with dark chocolate drizzle
Cookie dough ice cream
Mac and Cheese times three (of Monster Inc, no less!!)
Cherry tomatoes *yes, the 4 year old loves cherry tomatoes
Grapes
Pineapple
Cantelope
Hot dogs
Chicken nuggets
Corn dogs
Salad *Bug is the only 4 year old I know who loves 'bunny food'
Carrots *more 'bunny food'
Cheese sticks
Fruit pops of the freezer kind
Fish crackers
Chip dip
Potato chips
Bananas
Chocolate bars
Graham crackers *yep--s'mores!
Spaghetti'os
Oh gee..off the top of the head--that's some of it.
OH wait! Despicable ME video!!
Seriously? She's 4 and we'll be outside with water or at the park climbing and getting filthy dirty! She'll help Nana garden, blow bubbles, play with sidewalk chalk, douse grandad with her squirty thingy and chase lightening bugs.
WHEN will she have time to eat all THAT?!
*shaking head*
You'd think the child was spoilt by the grandad.
Cuz she is?
No worries--I'm sure we'll start off the weekend with a trip to the ice cream shop--
*laughing*

Hi Mel,
I was going through your list yesterday with D; Man... I can't buy more than one of those processed treats!
Can you imagine that Oreo has been selling here only since the past 4 or 5 years (in teeny packages)??
Same for someth ing that you don't have on Bug's list; Philly cream cheese.
I am all for eating lots of salad & veggies. Yay Bug!!!
Haha!!! I think you're prepared for a whole summer's worth of visits from the bug. I think with moving....she'll get to spend a few more weekends. Oh I hope so!!
