I think I'm now witchy AND twitchy.
Which would explain the need to vacate the work site on a daily basis, turn right and head down the old bridge road. This is the place I go to when I wanna take people's faces off and spit down their throat. Only, I'm not so much feeling like I wanna do that......I just find myself vacating and ending up on the old bridge road.
The wild flowers are amazing right now, the fields are bursting and the creek is just peaceful.
Undoubtedly I'll go again today.
Yesterday I went after talking with the nurse about where to send the pre-op physical.
Today I'll go cuz I have to contend with meeting...after meeting....after meeting....after meeting... I adore Wednesday cuz every one of the staff are present. I despise Wednesday cuz every one of them wants to talk and talk.......and talk......
I'm a 'get in, decide, get out' kinda gal. Talking things to death is what I do with MY stuff, not other people's..LOLOLOL OHmygosh, how true is that?!
I'll end up on the old bridge road. And it'll help me just breathe and BE.
I know it's about this surgical stuff and all the 'out of control' circumstances that are piling up. (like I was in control of ANY circumstance?!) I know I've got a good two weeks (to the day!) to get through without creating too many messes.
I'll work on setting the plan into motion (which it already is!) and getting people into a habit before I wander out the door to 'get 'er done'!
And I'll go to the old bridge road as many times as I need to.........

I'm the same way, Mel. OMG...when I was an actor, it drove me crazy when actors would sit around a table and TALK about acting instead of just getting out there and doing it.

Isn't it funny how some people thrive on meetings and others want them to be over the minute before they start? :) My husband hates meetings. He just wants to have a convo and get it done. But...you know that's not the way many, women especially, work. They need to talk it out, and before that be all chatty and catch uppy...and I'm okay with that if my schedule allows, but if not...I itch. He's worked with women a lot and it's the one thing that drives him crazy. ;)
I'm so sorry for the pressure you feel. I prayed for you again today...for you to have peace that passes understanding. Now that I know it's two more Wednesdays I'll keep that in mind. I so didn't want you to have to go through this. But...we know God's in control and he'll work something out that will be in your best interest. He always does. Just sometimes I don't much care for the scenic route he takes us on to get there. That probably shows my own control issues and the struggle to fully trust. Some people seem to do that so well. I'm a baby stepper who seems to have slippery shoes. ;)
I'm glad you have a lovely place to escape to. It sounds perfectly peaceful. A place to refresh and feed your soul. Just don't jump off that bridge. ;)

I can't really say anything that isn't trite concerning your upcoming surgery. "It'll be over before you know it" or "Hang in there, it will all be all right" just don't seem right. I am totally sorry you have to go through it, especially after all the time you've already spent healing from the in jury.
I send the best and hope the time passes quickly.
Peace
Hi Mel,
It wouldn't help anyone's pre-ouop "whatever" to attend these types of meetings.
:(
Wishing you strenght.
Go down that bridge as many times as you need( as long as THEY aren't on the other side!).
