Honoured and humbled.....

Now, wisepersoninmylife OUGHTA be duely impressed that someone, somewhere actually thinks I qualify for a "Nice Matters Award".
I can't tell you how many 24 hours I've been listening to him growl "BE NICE!"

....There's a little sticky note on my laptop that reads:

BE NICE!!!

Or else.......

And that nickle can at the worksite that I keep tossing nickles into--for whining and grumblings?
Still exists.
Darn that they didn't make that disappear when I went for the vacation.

I'm assured they held onto it for a reason.

What's it say that I'm the biggest contributor to the can?

*sigh*

That sister that I just visited? She makes NICE look so darn easy.
She got all the nice genes, I swear.

Many moons ago I tried to explain to wisepersoninmylife that 'nice' is hard work for me.

He assured me that it was effortless work and I just needed to 'practice, practice, practice'....cuz I'd 'used up my share' of meanness. 'Get over myself, shut up and PRACTICE'.

So.....I practice.

I have to say that wisepersoninmylife has been right about a whole lot of things.
And I'll give that he's right about this one, too.

(Oh, pleasseeeeeeeee don't tell him I said any of the above. LOL)

My first thought about another person and their motives (cuz I'm sooooooooo good at reading people's minds, dontchaknow!) isn't crappy anymore.

And I really don't find myself struggling anymore to see the good circumstances or the people around me.

Heck, I hardly ever grumble at other drivers any more! (what's up with THAT?!)

One of these days I'm gonna haffta give a hard look at what wisepersoninmylife says to me on occassion......

"If you could only see yourself as I see you........If you would only let things LOOK how they are for you, today......"
