Hand over that wand.....

Even when you are thoroughly committed to staying focused, life can get in the way.
Though you may have the best of intentions, there will be times when you veer off course as a result of your own actions.

When that happens, don't beat yourself up about it--recognize it, accept it, learn from it, and get moving again.
Winners and losers will both stumble.

Winners have learned to quickly get back up and get moving again.

Or.........the fairies could just whap me in the head with it and keep it.
I suppose that'd work.
Though.....frankly, I'd rather have the wand. LOL
Ohhhhhhh the things I could do with that wand......

You do realize that you are beating yourself up for something that is not within your power... right? And all of your lies and denial are your effort to make something that is not in your control seem like it is.

Let go and stop fighting for control... tell himself what he needs to know so he can take his place beside you like himself wants to be beside you.

Stubborn alien scaredy cat. C;)

if I had that wand I'd surely let you have it...

and if wouldn't make me SUCH a hypocrite I'd agree with the bald one...

Craig said it exactly. (Maybe you've already told himself?)

But um...so what would you do with the wand? Tell, tell, do please :)

I love how this works. I turn up. Someone else has already written a wonderful piece of advice and I get to do the following kind of thing....

What Craig said.

Marvelous! :-)

Me three (or four?) what Craig said. Now you can ignore my comment on the last post, coz he said it much better than I. :)

I think I'll be able to wrestle the wand out of your control. :D

*sending thanks to all the loving people*

*sigh*

I KNOW it's that frantic scramble to gain a (false) sense of control.
I also know that I did have (true) control over what I did with the fear.

Stupid fear. *mumbling*

Stupid stubborn scaredy cat alien.... *muttering*

*sigh*

oh, I'm late, but I've just been told to "pause", "slow down", "do nothing", "heal"

is that allowed after we've stumbled, hurt ourselves, beaten ourselves up and don't know which direction to go in. . .

(so I'm going to paint my bedroom, instead!)

(((((((( ILTV )))))))))))

Wisepersoninmylife would tell me that's 'required'.

Pause. Slow down. Give yourself a break. Do nothing...give yourself a chance....
