QOTW

Which room of your home tends to be the messiest? The neatest?

Oh boy....by MY doings the messiest is the bedroom.
The neatest--again, by my doings, the laundry room.

There's little to nothing in the laundry room--and I'm a 'start it and finish it' kinda gal. It's rare that there's anything ever left in there, 'cept the washer/dryer and assorted detergents/softeners/dryer sheets/etc... Go in, get it done, get out. LOL I do my laundry like I do my shopping. I like 'em both about equally the same. (poor use of the language, but you get what I mean)

As for the messiest--the bedroom is the target of mass destruction daily. It ain't just the tearing apart of the bed linens cuz I'm one of 'those' kinda sleepers (like a log and I don't move, or like a crazed woman and I'm all over the place!). It's far worse than that. Truth is, I'm not very good at dressing myself. And I mean I suck at it. Seriously--I toss and mutter and grumble and change one or six times before I'm satisfied enough/desperately close to being late enough to just 'live with it' and exit fast before I opt for changing ONE MORE TIME.

And I'm not nice during the process.

Toss.

Crumple and throw.

Drop to the floor and swear.

Kick 'em off and don't bother to see if anyone's injured.

Wad and fling....

I delay as much as possible before I start the process.

And I walk with great determination from the house utterly dissatisfied with the choice, talking to myself about the JOY of getting to do that task daily.....WTF......how come it's a daily occurance that we have to dress?! I mean, c'mon.....who's idea was that?!

And then I get in the car, get my arse to work and forget what I even have on. LOL

"Gee, you look nice today." gets met with a "Compared to yesterday when I looked like crap on wheels? Thanks." and I keep moving.

NOW ya know why they always have coffee waiting for me at the office and why I get that first hour without much people interaction. LOLOL

SMART group of folks I work with!! ;-)

LOL! We don't have a messiest! It's all messy (except, just now, today, the larder 'cos I tidied it out yesterday)
And I'm so with you on the crumple and throw!
