Sunday....

The good news about a new 'reader' is it's something new to play with!
The bad news about a new 'reader' is it has all sortsa settings you can play with--and screw up.  LOLOL

That's okay--it's a learning curve, I'm sure.
Right. Tried to catch up on what I've missed that I didn't KNOW I was missing, did the usual morning deal--and now I think I'll head out to the patio.......where I'll melt in the heat and humidity.

I didn't get very 'far' in the decorating quest.  Fact is I had a bit of a meltdown.  Never, ever try to force something creative to 'happen'.  Cuz that never works for me and it just frustrates me to the point of a meltdown.  Which is what himself found me doing when he emerged from his 'laying down with a headache'. *sigh*  Lovely....  Oh, and the remains of decorating supplies at the store--notsomuch.  I did purchase a pinwheel.  And decided that adventure didn't really serve it's purpose, other than to get me a bit of space from the physical issue at hand.  Today I'll try to attack the decorating from a different angle--or not.  Face it, if I put it out, it only means having to haul it back in.  And 'minimal' isn't a bad plan.  I'll shoot for minimal.

And I'll finish the wreath with the supplies I have on hand cuz....it ain't like I don't HAVE stuff on hand!
'New stuff' won't solve the real issue here.  Only me altering my attitude and perception will do that.

Right!  Patio!!

Love my Kindle! And you are way ahead of me on 4th of July. The thing about living on the corner of two dead end streets is that you really hate to decorate because only 2 neighbors are going to see it. And they, quite honestly, do not care. But I miss doing all that. I gave most of my stuff to daughter. She lives on a busy street.

And oh my don't I get the decorating thing. There is no forcing things to happen. They look forced, feel forced, and well... yeah.

New 'reader' - I need to do that. Nothing like waiting until it's almost July 1st. haha!! Which did you choose? I'm pretty sure of my choice...just gotta do it. Arrgh.

Oooo goodie, Mel! I was wondering how you were doing with and which reader you went with. I went with Feedly and so far I like it. Yes, there are all sorts of settings you can play with and yup...I've been playing with them.

And I gotta say, I'm enjoying my new toy!

oh darlin'... minimalism is truly the answer more often than maybe we like it to be. i certainly i know of what YOU speak! remember hotdogs and chips, maybe blueberries on white frosting with cherries or something for the old colors... blah blah... i'm so over it but course, it's not obvious. it'll be our secret tho i'm not planning any parties i know of. we spend the 4th chasing people off the land! rolling eyes...sigh. xox

Minimal sounds brilliant - when you do minimal I bet it's to the max!
(And naturally you have stuff to hand : )

Hey there Mel,
You are so right; if the creative machine stalls and drags, DON'T push it...
That gift comes when you don't think CONSCIOUSLY of it.
Creativity comes quietly and flows with out being asked.
