Things that make me happy....

....watching the boss laugh when I asked if he thought I was sitting home on the couch eating bon bons the past two months.

....the surprise of a leafless lawn when a loving someone mulched the whole yard while we were out and about.

....the 'forgot to put it with the rest of the decorations' wee witch that's sitting on a shelf...and is going to stay there.

....the sister getting a dental fitting--almost 2 years after the surgery.  She'll feel sooo much better.

....walking the mile yesterday--with one crutch and no brace....AFTER it snowed.

....surviving a weeks worth of full time work!

....hearing 'we missed you' and knowing it's true.

....having the Physical Therapist's validation that the 'clunk' was a joint freed up from scar tissue and the 'atta girl' that came when I told him I gave myself a stern talking to and got on with the plan.  LOL

My gosh, I can't believe it's been almost TWO years ago.

P.S. We're supposedly getting some snow this week as well. Can't wait :)

FABULOUS news, Mel, as was the rest of your post. Like Ron, I can't believe it's almost two years since your sister's surgery.

WooHoo!! Walking with one crutch, no brace, for a mile, in the snow! That's worthy of a big time celebration. You are rockin' and rollin' and healin' and stealin' - er...maybe not stealin' unless we're talking about taking back your life. I love your happy things!! They make *me* happy Mel! [hugs]
