When we begin to take our failures non-seriously, it means we are ceasing to be afraid of them. It is of immense importance to learn to laugh at ourselves.--Katherine MansfieldWhen we no longer fear failure, we are free to attempt greater feats.
We dare to learn more, and life is fuller--not just our own lives, but the lives that we touch.

:o Thats pretty deep and meaningful...for a Sunday anyway ;)
this was my day!
thanks fairies
not laughing yet, not really smiling, just enjying a moment of peace from the various "failures" that have been haunting me recently
:-)

you sweet gifted lady, have touched my life in ways I know no-one could fathom unless they traveled a similar path. I am learning and have learned from you and your fairy words of wisdom, your encouraging remarks to me. I have never met you and probably never will but you are the encouragement I look forward to in my life. In touching me the way you have, I can only imagine what a wonderful touch you have for the so many people you help in your everyday walk. The Big Guy is gonna bless you in ways you could never imagine someday. I cannot pretend to know what you are dealing with right now, all I can tell you is that I have this great burden to pray for you and I will do just that every day.
luv ya ;~)

i second everything a Simple statement has said...your fairy words, and yourself, have often brought me rays of hope, when everything has seemed dark, bless you Mel.
Now see, I must be a grumbler. I like the way it is expounded upon, but the original quote is worded in such a way that I have trouble agreeing with it completely.
Mind you, I am NOT denying the fact that I have a whole luggage set full of fears that I need to learn to laugh at (not the least of which is attempting a word verification of 9 letters - Ha! I laugh in your face, sqowrukhs!).

Oddly enough, a whole set of failures came and haunted me this morning.
Now? I laugh in their faces :)
thanks Mel :)
