Scooby treats

Happy.

Smiling.

Laughing.

Toddling.

Bubble chasin'.

Bug.

And this morning Nana's nursing a sore back, scuffed up knee, wrecked hand and wounded pride--oh--and ruined slacks......

Yeah, well......the ball was blowing away.
And I was closest so I tried to stop it....with my foot.
Yup.

Down.

Face first, no less.
Worst of all--holding the bug.

Now the good news is Nana apparently knows how to fall down with another person. I hear tell we looked a bit strange, but that it was a 'good save'.
Yeah, well.....it doesn't feel so 'good' to fall down with a baby in your arms.

I'll have you know she got a minute scratch by her elbow and it was a 30 second delay for any tears to show up and for the crying to begin. I'm pretty sure it scared her more than anything else. Scared ME, forcryingoutloud...

She got a Scooby bandaid. And lots of kisses. AND a cookie.

And Nana got.......some stupid cosmetic pad with triple antibiotic ointment squeezed on to it, slapped on to the knee with two pieces of medical tape?
And NO COOKIE.


I gotta work on this 'crying' and 'looking pathetically cute' jazz.....
