Oy.....

Right then.

Let's hope for a shorter deal--5.5 hours is a bit much to ask of a purple casted person.

*sigh*

I love doctors.
I love doctors.
I LOVE doctors.

~~~~~~~~~~~~
And I'm home!  Without the purple cast!  Woooohoooooo!!!
Choice between a jointed cast and a brace--we ended up with the brace.
Another four weeks, he asked for.  He'd like me to be weight bearing before returning to the work place.  I almost had him convinced--and then he convinced me.  *laughing*
Maybe I DO like this doctor a bit.
Four weeks--back I go.  Hopefully to the weight bearing stage.
I have a BRACE. (boring black, but I'll deal!)  I can take it off for a bath or a shower.
OHmygosh......A BATH!
Ohhhh....now if I can just figure out how to manipulate that confidently!
*laughing*
I will.  Maybe not today--but I will!
With bubbles!
AND duckies!  :-)
k...gotta figure out how to stand up without feeling like I'm gonna fall over.....again.....
Congrats on graduating to a brace!
But shame it’s not purple. They should make them in purple!
Hope you get to visit with your rubber duckies soon.♥
This is the news I was hoping for. The Purple People Prohibitor is gone! The brace is a giant leap, I hope - at least you can have some relief from it in you welcome bath. Wait...I just read a later post about pain and you not sleeping.
Are we on some time warp thing in partnership? We ought to have a direct line. Aha...we do!
Just spoke with my Physio and I told her about my rotten night. I told her my prayer and that I then did the Tapping Technique. She cheered and thanked me for reminding her to use it, too!
She is a cancer survivor and just learned from another Physio that the effects of Radiation can go on forever BECAUSE the cells don't know that they can stop the healing process. That mechanism for messaging the body has been destroyed and the pain is caused by the on-going attempt to heal what is healed. So she is going to use Tapping to tell the cells they don't need to produce any more cells.
I pass that along...it's been a mystery why women who survived breast cancer continue to have pain in their breasts.
Our bodies are wonderful pieces of work. Incredible.
