STILL singin'......

Then there was that patio ant
Thought he could eat Mel's bugglia plant
Listening all day to Mel rant
Oughta killed that darn ant

But she had high hopes, she had toxic dope
He had antibugspray powers and then Mel moped

So anytime you wanna spray, guilt will pave the way
And remember you can't

Oops there goes another bugglia, oops there goes another bottle a, oops there goes another patio ant!

Aw but ants are people too Mel. Play nice. They're entertaining too. I've spent much time watching ants - I've also been warned by them to stay outta their realm and away from their hill. :)

Oh but isn't it funny how you can find the guilt quite washed away by the sight of an unwanted plant eating insect. Or a trail of busily invading ants coming through the kitchen window in search of my sugar!

(I know, I know, they're only trying to feed their families...but such BIG families!)

Mel I can almost see it all in my mind. I have Vi right here battling bugs just as you are. She is fighting canker worms eating all her plants.
I am betting on you to win the battle

If the ant can fight back and survive bottle after bottle of bug dope, does that mean that we can... awe, never mind. C;)

I'll have you know that I sidestepped some ants on the patio this evening.

Guilt is a powerful thing! LOL

Wish the darn spray was AS powerful, dangit.....

I once came home from a holiday to find an ant trail that went from two thirds of the way down the garden, along the side of the house, thru a hole in the kitchen wall, around three edges of the inside of the kitchen, up to the top shelf of a four shelf kitchen cupboard, to the left had side of the cupboard and to the sugar packet. . .

. . .and all the way back down and out again back to the nest in the garden

what struck me was, how they must have investigated every single square inch of my kitchen until they found the sugar - in the furthest spot from the hole in the wall. . .
