The bathroom's sticky note.....

I......have a slight attitude problem.
.....k......that's probably an understatement.
I wanna blame the circumstances--and I know they don't decide my attitude---I DO.

Himself is a bit worried....go figure, Mr. Neurotic thinks it's all about himhimhim.
Very little, if any, has to do with him.

"You're not a happy bunny, are you...."

Ummmmmmm......nope--but that's all about me and not about YOU.

Nope, not a happy bunny....
I wanna say "gimme sunshine and a working body and outside time and sidewalk chalk and less stuff at work and more stuff to do with adventures...." but truth is, the circumstances aren't the problem.

Oh, where oh where has that sticky note gone?!
Ah yes......on the mirror in the bathroom:

You ARE looking at the problem!

*sigh*
ATTITUDE ADJUSTMENT, please.....

It's not the circumstances, Mel.
It's you and your stinky attitude!

Old Doc Sorrow recommends
Hot chocolate
Hot bath
Bubbles
and a little decompression
it's my daily attitude adjuster..
Otherwise my perspective gets all skewed up...

Ah, when I feel like that I need to give myself a little space. Read a book, sleep, turn my head off for a while. Stop the noise going on in there and put something else in. (Cos there's only room in my head for one thing at a time, see)
Oh and if you have an atitude problem that's fine...your ATTITUDE is giving you a problem. YOU are not the problem.
Here's wishes for your circumstances to get better and give you an easier time.

Awwwwww....((((Mel))) sometimes it is, as my sister put it to me tonight, crappy circumstances that lead to a less than rosy attitude. We can change our minds all day long, but the fact of the matter is changing our minds, our perspectives & our attitudes is NOT going to automatically change our health, our weather, our situation.
Don't be too hard on yourself & don't carry the burden of Mother Nature, Father Time & all the other uncontrollables on your shoulders.

Howdy Mel~

Hey, you've been through a lot of challenging stuff these past two weeks..and you are SO ENTITLED to have an ATTITUDE...because to be honest..."I" certainly would!!!

Now..take two hot bubble baths, and squeeze Mr. Duckie under water...and I'm sure you'll feel FABULOUS!!!!

Oh...and eat one of those adorable cookies, while dunking in a cup of hot coffee!!!

And feel the RELIEF.....

I, Like The View said...

but, see, the thing is. . . I love your attitude!

:-D

LOL

Most days I love it, myself!

Today, I'm much more centered in what's good and true about LIFE.

And it's all good, truth be told.
Really!

And yes, thank you---I'm feeling better....mostly.
Worn down and physically 'tired', but YOU hug a toilet for a week and see how much energy YOU have left! LOL

*hugs all the way around*

/me rips the sticky notes up and burns them in the wood stove as fast as possible.

Peace, today, always, all ways.
