This year, I didn't haffta bother. Cuz there the little booger was--on our tree in the front yard. Now wasn't that just nicer than nice?
Which was cooler than cool!!
k.......I admit I had several neighbors who seemed a bit curious about my newest bizarre obsession--I mean, I'm standing and saying "c'mout, c'mout Mr. Cicada", happily watching up the trunk of the tree forcryingoutloud.
*chuckling*
Oh well!!
Oh well!!
If they're talking about me they're leaving someone else alone? ;-)
And I just know he'll sing prettier than pretty come tomorrow evening!

Aaawww, suhweet! I miss cicadas! Used to have them all the time back home!
Oh extraordinarily cool! What a gift to see that happening - thank you :)
we don't have these guys here...sigh....
but very cool to see on your weblog...
Wow! Those pics are awesome Mel! Blessed again by Mother Nature's eye candy!
I had no idea in the morphing, that they went through a phase where their little faces looked kinda like a frogs face! How cool!
just spent two weeks listening to this guy's French cousins
course, they sang in a different language: but the tune was just as beautiful, I'm sure
