Message in a bottle.....

Just a castaway, an island lost at sea, oh
Another lonely day, with no one here but me, oh
More loneliness than any man could bear
Rescue me before I fall into despair, oh
Ill send an s.o.s. to the world
Ill send an s.o.s. to the world
I hope that someone gets my
I hope that someone gets my
I hope that someone gets my
Message in a bottle, yeah
Message in a bottle, yeah
A year has passed since I wrote my note
But I should have known this right from the start
Only hope can keep me together
Love can mend your life but
Love can break your heart
Ill send an s.o.s. to the world
Ill send an s.o.s. to the world
I hope that someone gets my
I hope that someone gets my
I hope that someone gets my
Message in a bottle, yeah
Message in a bottle, yeah
Message in a bottle, yeah
Message in a bottle, yeah
Walked out this morning, dont believe what I saw
Hundred billion bottles washed up on the shore
Seems Im not alone at being alone
Hundred billion castaways, looking for a home
Ill send an s.o.s. to the world
Ill send an s.o.s. to the world
I hope that someone gets my
I hope that someone gets my
I hope that someone gets my
Message in a bottle, yeah
Message in a bottle, yeah
Message in a bottle, yeah
Message in a bottle, yeah
Sending out at an s.o.s.
Sending out at an s.o.s.
Sending out at an s.o.s.
Sending out at an s.o.s.
Sending out at an s.o.s.
Sending out at an s.o.s...

(I so wish that I'd been allowed to put stuff in that bottle - but the instruction were VERY clear and it said on the label where the stamp goes, in French, "do not put anything else in this bottle, like liquid or sand" - but I mighta stuck in a sprig of heather. . .)(it went in the scrap book, instead, the heather did)

yesterday I had a moment when I tried really really hard to remember one of the moments I had only a week or so ago now, when I wrote you a card. . .

. . .can't for the life of me recall which image was on that card tho (now, does that surprise you!?)

and - d'ya know what? I keep seeing postcards of here that I want to send you too! you up for any more? how's your postie doing with the extra load. . .

(oh, and the little black-red squirrels were so cute, scampering up and down the long long trunks of the pine trees. . .)
