Fairy Thought

Like an old gold-panning prospector, you must resign yourself to digging up a lot of sand from which you will later patiently wash out a few minute particles of gold ore.
—Dorothy Bryant

No one and no thing is good all the time. Let us remember that if we expect nothing but gold, we are distorting life, getting in our own way. We don't want to falsify the texture of our lives; the homespun quality helps us to appreciate the gold when it appears.

I will find some gold among the sand, today.

BBQ Ribs are good all the time, so is coffee. Isn't it? C'mon, coffee is always good, isn't it?
I jnow what this post means. It is important to think this way.
Thanks.

Go figure I argued with the fairies this morning over this and made sure they knew that coffee was always good.
And I reminded 'em--JUST in case they were thinkin' about breaking my coffee pot to help me learn different....I have five of 'em to choose from. :-D

*snickering*

If all five turn up broken--I won't be laughin'.....

(and I'm loving the coffee pot conversation with Spadoman!)(I have one - working - machine and one reserve pot. . . finally got rid of the two broken machines. . .)

Oh yes, I have many coffee pots.
Anyway, what's wrong with sand? I like sand. Sand is gold (unless it's got in your shoes between the sea and the shingle and it's a long trek back to rinse it off again)

it occurs to me that a gold mining pan is very similar to a cast iron skillet.

this is what comes from reading backwards
