Currently my job apparently is to type until I can't stand it any more.
I'm doing okay--at least until I get to that point....
Okay--it's not just 'typing'. I can do that fairly well, fairly quickly. It's putting it in professional wording and being responsible in how I'm presenting the material that's making me nutz.
So--I'm typing along and I have this brainstuckmoment.....and as much as I've trained myself to just let the fingers do the talking I end the paragraph with
.......andblahblahblahblahI'mhavingabrainstuckmoment.......
Nothing really bad. But it's probably something I needed to remove before the boss clicked to read. *laughing*
Ah well.....at least he knows what got in the way of getting more done?
Yeah, well.... I keep going back to the documents.
EVERY night I go back--pretty near impossible to go back when I'm working with kiddos. (yes, I know....MY choice. I could lock myself away in the office... I just don't.....)
EVERY night I whittle away at it.
Every night I'm displeased with the results.
Yeahyeahyeah......I'm critical of me.
I'm also clear what's riding on the contract proposal at this moment in time.
I can't help but shake my head at the content of what I'm putting down. It's true for today. It just won't be true months from now--
That's probably my barrier--I know what's true and I have a tough time putting things together to make it --- vague.
I don't do obscure and vague well.
*sigh*
Yeah yeah......ain't a brainstuckmoment, huh?
Geeze, sometimes I wish I was better at denial.
RAWR.
*laughing*
I seem to keep doing obscure and vague in LOTS of places.
I just don't like it.
Pffffffffffffft. :-P

I have quit so many jobs because I couldn't speak the truth. I'm not suggesting thatyoumdothat, but I do know how hard it is to have to skirt around the real issues of helping people to get funded. I did the same thingin the 1980's when I was a program coordinator at Pine Technical College dealing with Ronald Reagan's policies pertaining to people with varying degrees of ability.
I have empathy for you. Wish I could help in some way, but I guess knowingnthat I'm cheering for you from here mught be a little help.
Hang in there.

Ugh. Sounds decidedly unfun! I hope you can stop typing drivel & return to enjoyable typing. Like blogging. :)
Yuk!!! I am sitting here putting off typing up a recommendation for a waiver proposal from an employee...I hate these things, especially the part where I have to make a recommendation and have the reason why...
I totally get you...
"......andblahblahblahblahI'mhavingabrainstuckmoment......."
Hi-frikin-larious!
I totally feel your pain, as I've been writing (or trying to) a lot lately.
(((((Hugs)))))
"Yeahyeahyeah......I'm critical of me."
OMG...I guess that's another Libra trait because I AM TOO!!!! I read something, then read it again (changing things), then read it again (changing things), and so on, and so on....
"I don't do obscure and vague well."
Yup, me neither, dear lady. Me neither. I would rather get to the point.
So, here's a big hug for you, okay?

Oh boy, Mel, that's a toughie. Even though you write for today, if you have information that you know taints "today", that makes a soul cringe. Are you actually the one who made the decision and is responsible for working around that disparity?
My heart is with you in a very big way, Mel. And I'm lovin' your photos.
where is the book with the noisy buttons when you need it?
(-;
hope you're getting thru it. . . slowly but surely
