Every day we take so much for granted. But we can count certain blessings: a roof over our head, food, clothing, family and friends, freedom....
These things are special. Thinking about them wakes up our happiness.

I'm so fortunate. I received such a greeting from two of my Grand daughters yesterday. The 6 year old texted me a picture of her getting a card I sent ther. It had a sheet of animal stickers in it. Her face made me light up, then I cried because I miss her so much. The 12 year old just texted that she loved me and missed me.
I've been gone from home longer only one time before. It's time to head North. Probably will this week by Friday. Then I can tell them how much I love them and why. I have several reasons.
I love you too, Mel. I do because you show us that you care about people everyday, even when you have struggles of your own. I appreciate that about you.
