People are really gracious, yaknow?
A gal brought me a stack of movies a couple weeks back and I've whittled away at 'em. (not really a movie watcher--but these past weeks of being immobile have altered that a bit) Not any ookey spooky movies (cuz nightmares will happen--they'll start before I even get to bed.....yes, I'm wussy like that). Not blast 'em to smithereen movies. (I don't do that graphic violence well either). And not sexually explict either (yeah, well.....not feeling compelled to explain THAT one.....LOL)
Doesn't leave much now a days..so yes.......
They were 'those' kind of movies.....
I watched "Courageous".
I think tears happened at least four times.
OH my gosh......
I was gonna pass on watching it in all honesty.
Excellent movie.
I'm glad I slipped it in.
Even if an abundance of kleenex was required.
Dare to Have Joy:
* The antique New York Central pamphlet I was gifted.
* Clearing out the crafting box for card making.
* Listening to the NEW bitty Rock Island train going 'round and 'round the basement.

Love that movie...I have watched it several times and I still cry...first time hubby and I watched it together we both cried!!
It sounds like we both could work through a few chick flicks with popcorn and kleenix and have a good cry.
I have a couple; do you know "The Holiday" or "Keeping the faith".
I get a big boost when I pop on a DVD in English language.
Rremember that I normally am watching all films & programs in French so in English, it is a treat!!
I have to admit that I do love scaring myself silly with the ookey spooky movies...which is just as well really cause lovely husband is a HUGE fan!!
Not seen courageous...will have to look out for it...cause I do love a good weepy too!
