G'mornin'........

I've taken to stealin' outside in the wee mornin' hours to watch the sun come up.

It's a great concept.

Birdies are singin', the world is quiet, the sun's painting the heavens with brilliant hues--it's me and the patio swing.....

And a quilt.

Cuz it's freakin' cold at 28 degrees!

Oh, but what a magnificent way to begin the day....

G'mornin'Mel.....

MAN, OH, MAN....what a glorious photo!!!

Jeees!

And I often wonder how people believe there is no God!?

Your post brought back memories for me, when I went to the Pocono Mountains for 7 days. I'm actually NOT a morning person, however, I got up every day at 6AM and did the same as you.

(it was 2 degrees)

And like you said..."What a magnificent way to begin the day...."

(and then of course, I ran inside and had some hot oatmeal and coffee)

Thanks for starting my day with a smile, dear lady!

Enjoy your day!!!!

it's kinda peaceful and soulfilling, innit. . . empties your head and fills it right back up again

(chills the hot drink a little too quickly!)(the quilt is a very very good idea!!)

hoping your day was good, too

I get up every morning at sunrise to walk Sioux and say my prayers. I feel less like me if I miss it.
