After we accept our anger we strive to develop a space between the feeling and our actions. We learn to notice our feelings before they reach the explosion point. In that mental space we choose how to respectfully express them.

Oh and I think RAWWR is an extremely respectful expression :)
Ha! LoVe It!
And this explains concisely what I felt earlier when I talked about walking out & moving on...
Always intuitively in tune Mel!
Well...you ASKED for this fairy in your last post! She heard ya and is kicking your butt!
this is a good one. . .
thank you
I like the title...
And it is a good lesson. Hard to learn.
You have definitely been reading my mail, and I am most grateful for that.
this space...between noticing the feelings and the explosion? This is when my coworker Jeff would start humming the tune, "I hear the train a-commin"
He says I get angry slowly...slowly like a freight train.
My kids are good at either:
a) slowing down the train
b) stoking the fire
depends on the subject....
<---totally igNORing the fairy's intention that I should express my angry feelings with respect.
<----pointing out how others should respect that space before the explosion.
selfish b*tch that I am
I know I know
it isn't actually suppose to be about me Me ME !
