If you wake up in the middle of the night, do you look to see what time it is?
Yup.
Why I do that--cuz sometimes I fail to set the alarm clock.
I check the time and I check to see that the alarm is set.
I check the time and I check to see that the alarm is set.
Why I do THAT, I'll never know.
I don't even know if that darn alarm clock works.

I think it buzzes?

Focus on the solutions not the problem, get rid of the victim mentality. Great post

Me too, Mel! I'm always so afraid I forgot to set the alarm because I often have!

You do that because you are anal retentive, like me. Just jokin'
I look at the clock. I wonder if I got up after a couple of hours sleep or if I made it for the longer 4-6 hour sleep. If I made the 4-6, I am happy about it. If it's the 1 AM wake up, I stress, then I can't get back to sleep.
I have no alarm anymore, but like you, never needed one.
Peace
oh this happens far too much to me, but my tactic is to not be tempted to look at the time, but roll over and snuggle down deep and relax and drift off again
apart from the other night, when I got up and made a cup of tea, went back to bed and read until my eyes shut all on their own
methinks it's an older age creeping up on my unexpecting mind and body
yikes!
ack.
I use to sleep clear through the night, and wake up with the sun. Good in the summer...not good in the winter. smile.
Now, I wake up about twice a night, look at the clock, and sigh.
hmmm...J...maybe it is age?
