We found a baby squirrel, and tried to get it back 2 health, with little success. I took it to the animal reserve, they put it into an incubator, but called shortly after to tell us that it was blind, and wouldn't make it thru the night. Of course, I told my children that it was just fine, and had lots of friends where we took it! The things we do for love.
We did the same. In fact we housetrained him for a bit and he used to love sitting on my shoulder. But then I took a vacation and came back to find him gone to the Happy Nutting Grounds
Guess who felt sorry for the 'poor little squirrel' who couldn't climb up the feeder pole?
