Sooooo......

If I showed the bruise on my arm would ya'll feel sorry for me?

Himself did.
We were comparing sites of blooddraws this evening. He's got some viral somethingorother and had a draw done....poor thing!

Of course, his looks like some tiny little pin prick and mine looks like someone used a battering ram on my arm. *shrugs* I bruise easy?
I didn't get sympathy from him, either....... LOL

The good news--the doc didn't make me climb on the scale. GOOD doc!!
The so-so news.......three vials of blood later I went home with just as few answers as I had going in.....'cept he made me feel better for some reason.


They'll check the thyroid, check for diabetes (family history 'stuff'), they'll check for cholesterol (WHY I don't have a clue! Probably one of those 'as long as I've gottcha' tactics, huh?) and they'll rule out a host of other things. Oh......and they'll check hormone levels. LOLOL Yes, they'll tell me I have 'em. The Brit will feel vindicated and life will be good once more! *rolling eyes*

They immediately 'ruled out' the leukemia being active......obviously the doc felt compelled to check that out (even though I'd JUST had that checked a month ago) cuz he put a rush on that one.
But I was feeling better before they rang back with those results this afternoon.
(Heck, I didn't even know he was going to check on that one!)

Maybe it was all in the showing up? Dunno.
Really--I have no more answers than I did going in.
But--I do feel better.

Heaven forbid that the reason that happened had to do with just BEING responsible!
I'd really, really, REALLY hate to tell wisepersoninmylife that he was RIGHT!!
