Trial Run

FYI
I'm going to the hospital, but highly doubt they'll keep me. Dr.'s office called to confirm my appointment tomorrow and I talked with the doctor about cramps that were keeping me up...so she told me to do a kick count and it came out at 6 in 2.5 hours. Sooooooo they want me to go in just to make sure things are okay. No contractions, no water broken, etc...so I'm pretty sure I won't be staying but--I'll let ya know!

Nope.
Of course I didn't panic.
And nope--I didn't start running around like a crazed woman.

YUP--of course I went. Duh. LOL Like I wouldn't show up?
Did she tell me it was totally 'unnecessary'.....uh huh....

No worries--I admitted it was all about me! LOL
I was honest--I told her it would make me feel better to show up and see that she was okay. I even told her I'd buy her coffee. (bribery never hurts.....LOL)

The Other Other Boy told me HE felt better that I showed up. Yup-- Leaned against the wall and actually looked relieved to see me. *laughing*
No doubt about it--The Other Other Boy deserves a medal for putting up with all that moody, cranky, emotional hormonal gunk she's dishing out. I definitely need to find one for him!

Nope--no baby.
But mom and baby are fine and all is well.

Plus-- I'm clear on the route and where to find the best parking.

:-)

AND I know where to go for a halfway decent cuppa coffee!!!!!!

Priorities, dontchaknow....

get him gift cards to joints he likes to eat, ( but maybe she doesn't) so as when baby comes and hormones really GO
BIZERK
he can at least sneak out and feed himself.
and maybe bring her back something she likes?
LOL
((((HUGS)))

for the brave boy
and (((((SMOOCHES)))))
for the girl whose holding up like a trooper..

practice makes perfect

route, parking, coffee.
(atta girl!)

how many days until cinco de mayo?

let's hear it for the boy....
(isn't that a song?)

I think I've asked this...but I have forgotten....what is the wee one gonna call you?

Grandma
Gramma Mel
Nana
Bubbie

this is important...

it is a new role that just may become a primary relationship...

and you want the distinction from any of those others you have to share grandchildren with...

have you decided?
or has the girl decided?

(apparently the caffeine has kicked in)
