TFTD

Distractions only have the power that you give them. To avoid being overpowered by distractions, see them for what they are.

When something interrupts your focus, don't fight it. Simply notice it, quickly decide whether it is worth any more of your precious attention, and if not, peacefully let it go.

is the laundry a distraction from my artistic endeavours, or are they from it. . .

. . .that constant nagging that I need to think about going back to work isn't a distraction, is it: I need to focus

thanks fairies

Here is a phrase I invented. This post made me think of it. (At least I think I invented it)

"When do you decide you need to make a decision about something?"
