Himself tells me the transfer to the other hospital is a good thing and the Mum is getting great care.
He also tells me it'll be at least two weeks doing rehab and then hopefully she'll be returned home.
According to their assessment, she's recovering well and is lower risk.
That's good news!
Actually, that's excellent news....I'm relieved for her and for him.
Another 5 to six weeks, he's hoping. Then he'll return home.
Home......
He got choked up when he told me he missed me.....missed sitting on the patio watching Seemore and Seeless....
The house is strangely quiet.
Things lay where I set them, unmoved and settled until I see fit to move them myself.
True to my nature, there's three pairs of heels scattered about in the livingroom.
They'll go nowhere until I move them.
That's an odd thing, given how it's been.
Strange that I should miss the silent, mysterious shoe migration that happens when he's present.
I've had a word or two with the heels....
Damn that they don't listen to me.

Glad to hear the mum's doing well.
Glad to know my shoes aren't the only ones who behave like teenagers and ignore any requests to be orderly. ;)
ah...great news about the Mum.
kinda nice that he misses you.
(maybe when you speak to the heels you need to use a british accent ?)
Mmm, I understand...for some reason I was very homesick the week I was in Austin...and her I go to Indy in another week...I can't wait to be home to stay.
so glad to hear about Mum...
and I can't help but chuckle about the shoe migration...
I found a fork today in the window sill. I racked my brain wondering how in the heck it got there. Surely it wasn't Smokie, Vilulah or Bear...
finally I recalled using it to irrigate some indoor plants, umm, maybe two months ago. Hahaha, side tracked by want to open the windows, I placed it there and scurried about opening them all. The windows are still open and the fork has finally made its way back to the kitchen.
Oh goodness! That's quite a long time.
Well I'm glad she's recovering and of course it's great that he can be there for her.

oh crikey - I've missed a lot, too much. . .
