Yeah, well, yesterday she was a basket case and I decided the doctors are wrong to give her an induce date only to rip it from her. Which--she apparently voiced to the physician. (go figure)
The REAL problem is too much freaking time on her hands.
The girl has been on leave from work this week--the start of her maternity leave, dontchaknow.
NOT that she wanted it, of course.
I'm clear it was about employee and customer relations. O.M.G.
She's a sobbing barracuda.
One minute she's taking your face off, the next she's pasting it back on and bawling about how sorry she is.
DEFINITELY employee and customer relations! GOOD call Mr. Employer!
Yeah, well......I made the trip to the house to chat with her a bit yesterday.....cuz.....
Cuz she's a mess and she's thinking too much?
k.....well.......she is her mother's child? *sigh*
The house is void of coffee--seems pregnant mom's are advised to lay off the caffeine nowadays.
*rolling eyes* k......well, whatever...
I went with my own.....hauled her in a rootbeer to make a rootbeer float with ONLY to to have her discover the poor other, other boy devoured the ice cream the night before UNBEKNOWNST to her.
Yep.
Definitely beheading material in her eyes, apparently.
Yes, I am praying for the other, other boy.
He's been digging up and planting her a butterfly garden. Which means a massive mess in the back yard--which she can't maneuver around cuz she can't see her feet. ROFLMAO
(OH he is a clever one that other, other boy.)
Which means he's outside and she's inside! Which means he keeps his head and she---thinks too much........
*shaking head and chuckling*
I suggested bowling.
I suggested moving furniture.
I suggested a nice LONG, HOT bath.
And I was JUST about to suggest another round of---well, you know-- when she glared at me and said
"It's not nice to poke someone in the head."
k....Thai food it is!

Oh I remember days like this well with Lisa. Never, never did I eat all the ice cream the night before.
I still see a Broadway play emerging from this, although I didn't consider Thai food before. Nice touch, Mel!
we tried everything to get my first child started but even when he was more than two weeks late he was too stubborn to come out easily. He had to be dragged out!!
I sure hope the very pregnant girl doesn't stay that way for much longer

Makes me recall the 2 weeks of overdue my son was. Now he's 12. Hoping for that baby and soon!
