If you always wish for more, you will never know the peace and satisfaction of having enough.
Realizing that you already have enough is one of the most profoundly empowering thoughts you can have.
Fully enjoying the first piece of cake does not prevent you from having a second.
Yet obsessing over whether or not you'll get another piece will always prevent you from enjoying what you have.
Being satisfied does not mean you must be complacent.
Being satisfied enables you to draw strength from your desires instead of letting them enslave you.

It is a double edge sword when you look at this post as material. But I see it as spiritual. I have all I need in spirit. I can live without a lot of "things", but I don't think I'd be alive today if I hadn't found a healing spiritual path.
You are the wise one Mel. You're doing a good job.
This fairy is just so wise.
This is a tough lesson to learn in life, and the days that I manage it, make life pleasurable. And when I forget well.... it's not as good
Giving ourselves permission to be satisfied with what we have is a good place to be.
